5-(11bR)-Dinaphtho[2,1-d:1'',2''-f][1,3,2]dioxaphosphepin-4-yl-5H-dibenz[b,f]azepine is an intermediate in the synthesis of cis-?9-Tetrahydro Cannabinol (T293203) which is a very minor cannabinoid product of the Cannabis plant. Also it is derived from 3-Chloro-2-methyl-1-propene (C368130), which has been used in the synthesis of 2-S-substituted pyrimidines as anti-metabolites of nucleic acid precursors for cancer therapy.
