FTBMT Usage And Synthesis
Uses
FTBMT is a GPR52 receptor agonist with an EC50 value of 71 nM. Studies demonstrate antipsychotic-like effects of FTBMT in murine models of schizophrenia. FTBMT elicits beneficial effects on cognitive processes such as spatial working memory and long-term memory in mice.
Biological Activity
FTBMT is an orally available, selective and potent agonist of GPR52. It exhibits antipsychotic and procognitive properties without causing catalepsy in rodents. FTBMT improves recognition memory in a novel object recognition test and mitigates MK-801-induced working memory deficits in a radial arm maze test in rats.

TP-024 (FTBMT) (30 mg/kg, 90 minutes) exhibits antipsychotic-like activity without causing catalepsy in mice[2].
TP-024 (3 or 10 mg/kg, 48 hours) improves recognition and spatial working memory in rats[2].
TP-024 (3, 10, 30 mg/kg, 2 hours) stimulates neuronal activity in brain regions related to cognition[2].
