2-hydroxy-3-methylcholanthrene Usage And Synthesis
Uses
2-Hydroxy-3-methylcholanthrene is a metabolite of 3-Methylcholanthrene, which is formed by liver microsomes in rats. The metabolism of the racemic mixture of 2-Hydroxy-3-methylcholanthrene was found to be enantiospecific; the rate of metabolism of the R isomer is faster than that of the S isomer.
