2-AMINO-5-(4-METHOXYPHENYL)-1,3,4-OXADIAZOLE Usage And Synthesis

Uses

1,3,4-Diazoles are an important class of five-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds. These compounds possess biological activities such as anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and plant growth regulation, and are mainly used in medicine and agriculture. 2-Amino-5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-diazole is an important intermediate in the synthesis of anticancer active agents.

Application

1,3,4-oxazdiazole heterocyclic compounds not only possess a wide range of biological activities, such as fungicides, insecticides, antiviral agents, and herbicides, but also exhibit high selectivity, high activity, and low toxicity, and are gradually becoming an important category of pesticides. Therefore, the activity characteristics of 1,3,4-oxazdiazole compounds are categorized into insecticidal, fungicidal, herbicidal, and antiviral activities. Furthermore, the research trends of this class of compounds are discussed. 1,3,4-oxazdiazole is a five-membered heterocycle containing O and N atoms, and it possesses broad pharmaceutical and pesticide activities.

Application

With the deepening research on five-membered heterocycles, the variety of heterocyclic variation sites has become apparent. Some 1,3,4-oxadiazole compounds have already been commercialized in the pesticide field, such as the protoporphyrin oxidase inhibitors Oxadiargyl and Oxadiazon launched by Rhône-Plextor in France. Oxadiargyl can control barnyardgrass (annual and perennial grasses) and Cyperus difformis (a type of sedge) in rice and potato fields. Therefore, based on the structural characteristics of 1,3,4-oxadiazole compounds, their activities are classified into insecticidal, fungicidal, herbicidal, and antiviral activities, and the research trends of this class of compounds are also discussed.
