Dexsotalol Usage And Synthesis
Uses
Cardiac depressant (anti-arrhythmic).
in vivo
(+)-Sotalol (8 mg/kg, i.v.) suppresses the induction of ventricular tachyarrhythmias by programmed stimulation in dogs[3].
| Animal Model: | Programmed stimulated Dogs[3] |
| Dosage: | 8 mg/kg |
| Administration: | Intravenous injection (i.v.) |
| Result: | Increased normal zone ventricular refractoriness, and prevented propagation of programmed ventricular extra-stimuli of sufficient prematurity to elicit tachyarrhythmias. |
