MANDELIC ACID HYDRAZIDE Usage And Synthesis

Uses

Maleic hydrazide is used in organic synthesis and as a crop growth control agent. For example, it is used to prepare a dragon fruit preservative, comprising the following raw materials in parts by weight: 10-20 parts tea saponin, 1-3 parts salicylic acid, 0.5-2 parts tea polyphenols, 0.5-3 parts tea tree oil, 1-2 parts lemongrass oil, 5-10 parts ascorbic acid, 3-5 parts chitosan, 3-6 parts maleic hydrazide, and 1-3 parts konjac glucomannan. This invention uses a variety of preservative and antibacterial raw materials and surfactants, allowing the preservative to form a thin film on the fruit surface. This allows the preserved dragon fruit to retain its nutrients for a long time without loss, providing advantages such as antiseptic, preservation, sterilization, prevention of water loss, and significant preservation effects, thus offering a better storage method for fruit. This product can be used to prepare a preservative for cut flowers of Paphiopedilum orchids. The preservative includes the following types: flower preservative, stamen preservative, leaf preservative, stem preservative, and vase preservative. Each type of preservative includes one or more of the following components: sucrose, L1-MCP, aluminum sulfate, dimethylaminosuccinic acid, maleic acid hydrazide, aminotriacetic acid, and deionized water. Each type of preservative can be applied alone, in combination, or in combination with other products. Each type of preservative effectively promotes the healthy growth of each part of the cut flower, extends the growth cycle of the corresponding part, ensures the overall beauty of the cut flower, and maintains the overall perfection of the plant. It is a comprehensive and effective preservative for cut flowers of Paphiopedilum orchids.
