MONOCERIN Usage And Synthesis

Uses

Monocerin is an isocoumarin derivative. Monocerin is isolated from Microdochium bolleyi, an endophytic fungus from Fagonia cretica. Monocerin shows good antifungal, antibacterial, and antialgal activities against Microbotryum violaceum, Escherichia coli, Bacillus megaterium, and Chlorella fusca[1].
