Uses
(Perfluoropropyl)phenyliodonium Trifluoromethanesulfonate (cas# 77758-79-3) is a useful building block used for perfluoroalkylations of carbanions and carbonyl compoiunds. Its electrochemical reduction has also been studied n the presence of sodium p-chlorophenylsulfinate, undergoing an ion-radical chain mechanism.
