Description

(±)-Methamphetamine-d₉ (hydrochloride) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of (±)-methamphetamine by GC- or LC-MS. Methamphetamine is categorized as an amphetamine and consists of dextrorotary and levorotary enantiomers.^1,2 (+)-Methamphetamine is the more physiologically active isomer compared with (–)-methamphetamine . Methamphetamine is both neurotoxic and frequently abused.³ (±)-Methamphetamine-d₉ is regulated as a Schedule II compound in the United States. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.

A labelled CNS stimulant. Anorexic. In attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity. Controlled substance (stimulant).
