Uses

1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-trione trihydrazone is a chemical blowing agent. It is one of the blowing agent components used in the production of skin-core foamed polyester fibres, coloured encapsulation films and polyether ether ketone resins, amongst other materials. It can also be substituted with p-toluenesulphonyl semicarbazide (CAS 10396-10-8) and p,p'-oxybis(benzenesulphonyl semicarbazide) (CAS 10195-67-2).
