Description

KY 234 is a thromboxane synthetase antagonist.

Uses

KY 234 is an orally effective inhibitor that targets thromboxane A2 production, with an IC50 of 5 μM. KY 234 significantly inhibits leukotriene D4 (LTD4), histamine, and antigen-induced bronchoconstriction in guinea pigs, with IC50 values of 6.0 mg/kg, 2.5 mg/kg, and 6.3 mg/kg, respectively[1].
