LY 113174 is a novel class of nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor. LY 113174 may prove useful in the treatment of estrogen-dependent diseases.

Uses

LY113174 is an orally active aromatase inhibitor (IC50 = 24 nM). LY113174 blocks testosterone induced increase in uterine weight in rat, and inhibits ovarian estrogen biosynthesis[1].
