Colorless to pale yellow liquid. The relative density is 0.926-0.933, the refractive index is 1.4970-1.5020, the flash point is above 100 ℃, and it is soluble in 8 volumes of 70% ethanol and oily essence.
Uses
Methyl ionone gamma is often used to prepare violet, sweet-scented osmanthus, acacia, and mimosa-type essences, and is also a commonly used fragrance in lily-type and perfume-type, Suxinlan, ambergris, amber incense, musk, and oriental fragrance.
