PACHYCARPINE Chemical Properties,Usage,Production

Uses

(+)-Sparteine is a natural alkaloid acting as a ganglionic blocking agent. (+)-Sparteine competitively blocks nicotinic ACh receptor in the neurons.

Safety Profile

Poison by subcutaneous and intravenous routes. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx.
