Description
Azido-PEG4-4-nitrophenyl carbonate is a PEG linker containing an azide group and an reactive nitrophenyl carbonate(NPC group). The NPC group is reactive towards the amino group of lysine by means of stable urethane linkages. The azide group enables Click Chemistry. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
Uses
Azido-PEG4-4-nitrophenyl carbonate is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Azido-PEG4-4-nitrophenyl carbonate is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
