Mannatide Chemical Properties,Usage,Production

Description

Mannatide is an immunomodulator and adjuvant, also known as alpha-polyactin or polyactin A (PA). It consists mainly of mannose and a small amount of glucose residue. Mannatide contains 87.7 to 90.3 per cent total sugars and 4.5 to 6.2 per cent total amino acids. It is used in the treatment of impaired immune function, including cancer and chronic hepatitis B. It is also used in the treatment of cancer. It is also used as an intranasal vaccination against influenza.

Physical properties

Mannan peptide is a light yellow or off-white amorphous powder,it is stable, soluble in water but not in organic solvents.

Uses

Mannatide can be used to treat malignant tumors, skin diseases, respiratory tract infections and leukopenia, etc.

Side effects

Mannatide appears to have few side effects when used properly for short periods of time.
