Uses

Dehydromiltirone displays inhibitory effect against acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE).

in vivo

Dehydromiltirone (50-200mg/kg, p.o.; daily; for five consecutive days) protects the liver from CCl4-induced injury. Dehydromiltirone reduces the increase in the proinflammatory cytokines TNF-α, IL-1 and IL-6, indicating an effect on alleviating liver inflammation^[1].

Animal Model:	Rat model of acute liver injury^[1]
Dosage:	50 mg/kg, 100 mg/kg, and 200mg/kg
Administration:	p.o.; daily; for five consecutive days
Result:	Protected liver from CCl4-induced damage.
