Clear colorless to faintly yellow liquid

It is used in synthesis of dendrimers and as an intermediates.
Synthesis
Method 1: At room temperature (23??5??C), a THF solution of allyl MgBr (200 ml, 400 mmol, 2.0 M THF solution) was added dropwise to a THF solution of SiCl4 (11 ml, 16.18 g, 95 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours and refluxed overnight for 12 hours. Upon completion of the reaction, the reaction product was cooled to room temperature, poured into ice water and extracted with ether (Et2O). The ethylene based extracts were combined, washed with water, dried with Na2SO4 and concentrated. The residue was separated by suction distillation to obtain tetraallyl silane in colorless oil phase.
Method 2: The reaction device is a 500mL four-necked flask, equipped with a constant-pressure dropping funnel and a spherical condenser tube, purged and protected by dry nitrogen, loaded with an appropriate amount of magnesium powder, stirred for more than ten minutes, and activated with a small amount of iodine. Mix 200 mL of toluene with an appropriate amount of tetrahydrofuran, and then mix 3-bromopropene with it; add 10 mL of tetrahydrofuran dissolved in 9.3 g of SiCl4 to the constant-pressure dropping funnel. A small amount of 3-bromopropene solution was added dropwise at the beginning of the reaction, and the reaction was initiated by Grignard's reagent preparation under cooling in a water bath. SiCl4 solution was added dropwise, and the reaction solution was kept refluxing at a certain rate of dropwise acceleration. After the reaction was completed, the reaction was kept at 50??C and refluxed for 60 hours. After the reaction is cooled to room temperature, the pH is adjusted to neutral by adding an appropriate amount of saturated ammonium chloride solution dropwise to the reaction flask in an ice bath. Add appropriate amount of hydrocarbon solvent to the reaction, collect the upper layer of oil, dry and distillate under reduced pressure, evaporate the solvent, collect 71-72 ?? / 4mmHg fractions, colorless transparent tetraallyl silane liquid with a special odor.
