Chemical Properties

White crystalline powder, soluble in methanol, ethanol, DMSO and other organic solvents, derived from the rhizomes of Liliaceae plants, Paris yunnanensis Franch.

Uses

PolyphyllinH has anti-tumor, anti-infection, hemostasis, anti-angiogenesis, anti-osteoporosis, and anti-oxidation.

Biological Activity

Polyphyllin H, the main active ingredient isolated from Rhizoma Paridis, has been widely used in traditional Chinese medicine preparations for the study of inflammation, fractures and convulsions.
