Preparation

(C.I. 61710) 1,5-Dichloroanthracene-9,10-dione?(or 1,5-Dinitroanthracene-9,10-dione)and p-Methylaniline condensation, stlfonation, and translated into sodium salt. Note: by 1, 5-and 1, 8-compounds were synthesized mixture of colored light is red to dye ( C.I. 61800). (C.I. 61800) 1,8-Dichloroanthracene-9,10-dione?(or 1,8-Dinitroanthracene-9,10-dione) and p-Methylaniline condensation, stlfonation, and translated into sodium salt. Note: in order to make the product has colored light between C.I. 61710 (slant blue) and C i. 61800 (partial red) between, but will be 1, 5-and 1, 8-compounds on the mixture sulphonated (BIOS 1484 ploidy; FIAT 1313,2,221; FIAT 764-anthraquinone purple).

Properties and Applications

purple. Soluble in ethanol, soluble fiber element, chloroform, o-chlorophenol, Pyridine, toluene, slightly soluble in acetone, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, insoluble in Stout special solvent. The strong sulfuric acid for brown, after diluted red purple precipitation.
