Preparation
(a) containing sulfur or sulfur-free fuming sulfuric acid 1,5-Dinitroanthracene-9,10-dione?(or crude dinitro anthraquinone), the product was isolated and treated with sulfuric acid; (b) use hair fuming sulfuric acid treatment yellow purpurin (C.I. Mordant Red 4; from Anthraquinone-2,6-disulfonic acid?and sodium hydroxide under pressure and potassium chlorate or sodium nitrate or potassium nitrate heating, while the resulting 2,6-Dihydroxyanthraquinone?separated, the product 1,2,6-Trihydroxyanthracene-9,10-dione?sulfonate, and converted to the sodium salt derived).
Properties and Applications
red light navy blue (chromium). Soluble in Cellosolve, slightly soluble in ethanol and Acetone, not soluble in Chloroform and benzene. In concentrated sulfuric acid to red light blue, with reddish brown fluorescent, dilution after brown precipitation.
