Uses
Normal goat serum may be used as a blocking agent or negative control in immunoassays. For immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry, goat serum was used between 1%-20% as blocking agent in various studies.

Goat serum can be effectively used for routine culture of fish cells.
Description
Premium quality normal goat serum for use as blocking reagent and antibody diluent for chromogenic and fluorescent immunohistochemical and immunocytochemical assays. Typically, normal serum from the same species as the secondary antibody is used in the blocking and diluent buffers.
