Uses

Bromophenol Blue sodium salt is used as a tracking dye for protein and nucleic acid electrophoresis in polyacrylamide gels. It also used in the preparation of protein samples for western blotting analysis. It finds application in staining histones.

Bromophenol blue sodium salt has been used in the preparation of protein samples for western blotting analysis. It has also been used in Drosphila fly food to aid visualization of gut for dissection.

Uses

Bromophenol Blue sodium salt has been used in the buffer solution to differentiate dead and living cells. It has also been used as a constituent in gel loading buffer.

General Description

Bromophenol Blue is a tracking dye for nucleic acid or protein electrophoresis in agarose or polyacrylamide gels.
