Application

Magnesium 3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl bromide can be used as a pharmaceutical synthesis intermediate, such as in the preparation of pyrrolidine derivatives like (2R,5S)-1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-5-(3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl)pyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid ethyl ester. This compound has antagonistic activity against the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor and can be used to treat various diseases related to the CGRP receptor.
