Chemical Properties

Meritobiside is one of the chemical constituents of Rehmannia glutinosa.

Uses

Used for content determination/identification/pharmacological experiments, etc.

Synthesis

Di Huang herb 20kg crushed 85% ethanol immersion, leachate concentrated under reduced pressure, add appropriate amount of water to dissolve and dilute, added to the large pore adsorbent resin column, and then washed with water, dilute ethanol, and high concentration of ethanol, respectively, to collect different parts of the elution solution, then silica gel H column chromatography, with CHCl3-MeOH (9:1), CHCl3-MeOH-H2O (8:2), the CHCl3-MeOHH2O (820.5) and CHCl3-MeOH-H2O (730.5) elution, collect the elution site, and then silica gel low-pressure column chromatography CHCl3-MeOHH2O (820.5) and then separated to obtain the crude product, ODSC18 column chromatography preparation, to obtain the digitoxigenin D, digitoxigenin A, and digitoxigenin E. The crude product was separated into two parts, The crude product was prepared by ODSC18 column chromatography to obtain Diosgenin D, Diosgenin A, Diosgenin E, Diosgenin E, and Catalponol, etc., and then de-hybridized by SephadexLH-20 dextran gel chromatography to obtain Diosgenin D, Diosgenin A, and Catalponol of quantitative grade, respectively. The purity was identified by high performance liquid chromatography HPLC normalization and met the requirements for content determination. From the ethanol extract of Dioscorea alata, 18 compounds were isolated and 12 compounds were identified as Dioscoreanoside A, Dioscoreanoside D, Dioscoreanoside E, catalpol and epsilonin, respectively. As a result, 18 compounds were isolated and 12 compounds were identified, among which dihuangoside D, miliotide (melittoside), dihuangoside A, dihuangoside E and epsilonin were obtained for the first time.
