Uses

Phosphomolybdic Acid is a reagent used for spectrophotometric determination of phosphate ions.

Uses

Phosphomolybdic acid hydrate may be used in the synthesis of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2)-reduced graphene oxide (RGO) composites with potential application as electrodes for sodium ion battery. It may also be used as a catalyst precursor in the presence of hydrogen peroxide as oxidant for the dibenzothiophenes oxidation in diesel fuels.

  • Highly dispersed MoOx/CNTs (carbon nanotubes) as a support for Pt catalysts

General Description

Phosphomolybdic acid hydrate (PAH) is yellow and crystallisable compound. It precipitates from potash, oxides of rubidium, caesium and thallium, ammonia and other nitrogenous organic alkaloids.
