Biological Activity

MAPCHOTM-12 or n-dodecylphosphocholine in combination with 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DMPC) is used for membrane-mimetic bicelle system for orientation based studies in membrane proteins. It provides a zwitterionic surface in the membrane micelle structure.
