Description

Azido-PEG24-NHS ester is a monodisperse, high purity PEG linker. The azide group enables Click Chemistry. The NHS ester can be used to label the primary amines (-NH2) of proteins, oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing biomolecules. The hydrophilic PEG spacer adds to the water solubility of this reagent.

Uses

Azido-PEG24-NHS ester is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Azido-PEG24-NHS ester is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
