Uses

NAUGARD® PS48 stabilizer is a liquid hindered phenolic for use as an antioxidant across many appications. It is a low volatility, low viscosity antioxidant providing good protection against degradation due heat and oxygen. NAUGARD® PS48 stabilizer finds application as an effective scorch reducer in flexible polyurethane foam production. It is readily soluble in polyols. Efficiency of scorch reduction is enhanced when NAUGARD® PS48 stabilizer is used in combination with amine antioxidants such as liquid NAUGARD® PS30 stabilizer as well as with phosphites.
