Definition

ChEBI: N-acetyl-L-glutamic acid is an N-acyl-L-amino acid that is L-glutamic acid in which one of the amine hydrogens is substituted by an acetyl group. It has a role as a Saccharomyces cerevisiae metabolite and a human metabolite. It is a N-acetyl-L-amino acid and a N-acyl-L-glutamic acid. It is functionally related to a L-glutamic acid. It is a conjugate acid of a N-acetyl-L-glutamate(1-).
