Uses

tert-Butyl (1R,3R,5R)-3-Carbamoyl-2-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-2-carboxylate is an intermediate in the synthesis of (2’R,2R,cis)-Saxagliptin (S143475), which is an impurity of Saxagliptin (S143500). Saxagliptin is a potent and selective reversible inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-IV) developed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
