Uses

EPA 524.2 Fortification Solution has been used as an internal standard to identify and quantify volatile organic compound (VOC) species of benzene, toluene, ethyltoluene, and xylene (BTEX), bromodichloromethane (BDCM), and THMs, respectively, in river water, tap water samples as well as air and water of indoor swimming pools, by gas chromatography (GC) based techniques.
