Uses
1,6-Dimethyl-1H-pyrimidine-2,4-dione is used as a reagent in the preparation of thio uracil derivatives as intermediates for drugs and agrochemicals. It also acts as a reagent in the preparation of N-(pyridinylmethyl)dimethyl(oxo)pyrrolo[3,2-d]pyrimidinyl)benzenesulfonamide derivatives as A2B adenosine receptor antagonists.
