Sulfinalol is an orally active β-adrenoceptor antagonist with direct vasodilator activity[1].

Sulfinalol shows direct vasodilator activity and antihypertensive activity[1].

Animal Model:Mongrel dogs weighing 8.7-21.2 kg were anesthetized with pentobarbital (30-35 mg/kg, i.v., followed by a continuous infusion of 4 mg/kg/h)[1]
Dosage:0-100 μg
Administration:Intraarterial injection
Result:Increased blood flow in the sympathetically denervated hindlimb of anesthetized dogs.
Animal Model:Male spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR)[1]
Dosage:2.5 mg/kg
Administration:Oral administration
Result:Reduced pressure of conscious spontaneously hypertensive rats.
