Deltamethrin Chemical Properties,Usage,Production
Application
It has a broad insecticidal spectrum and is effective against a variety of pests, including Lepidoptera, Orthoptera, Thysanoptera, Hemiptera, Diptera, and Coleoptera. However, it has very low or no effect on mites, scale insects, and mirid bugs, and may even stimulate mite reproduction. When both insects and mites are present, it should be used in combination with a specialized acaricide.
Chemical Properties
Deltamethrin is one of the highest toxicity of pyrethroid insecticides, and its toxicity to pests can be up to 100 times that of DDT, 80 times that of carbaryl, 550 times that of malathion and 40 times that of parathion. It has poisoning effects of touch and stomach, with rapid touch effect and strong knockdown force, no fumigation and systemic effect, and it has repellent effect on some pests under high concentration. It has a long period of efficacy (7-12 days). It is formulated as emulsifiable concentrate or wettable powder, and is a medium insecticide.
