Chemical Properties
The first chrysanthemic acid is white crystal or light yellow solid, containing cis-trans isomers, due to the different content of cis-trans isomers, the melting point is not fixed, (±) trans chrysanthemic acid m.p. 54 ~ 55 ℃, (±) cis chrysanthemic acid m.p. 114 ~ 115 ℃, b.p. 109 ℃/133 Pa, chrysanthemic acid is insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents, such as ethanol, benzene and ether.
Uses
Chrysanthemic Acid is an intermediate in the synthesis of Chrysanthemic Acid (C903440); Dimethrin is a pesticide, a pyrethroid insecticide. An acaricide for agricultural purposes.
