CU CPT 4a Usage And Synthesis
Uses
CU-CPT 4a (TLR3-IN-1) is a potent, highly selective TLR3 signaling inhibitor. CU-CPT 4a represses the expression of downstream signaling pathways mediated by the TLR3/dsRNA complex, including TNF-α and IL-1β[1].
Biological Activity
cu cpt 4a is a selective tlr3 inhibitor with ic50 of 3.44 μm in raw 264.7 cells. it can inhibit tlr3/dsrna complex-mediated downstream signaling pathways and inhibit the production of tnf-α and il-1β in whole cells. it reduces the mortality of crypt cells in mice and reduces gastrointestinal syndrome.[1]. cheng k, wang x, yin h. small-molecule inhibitors of the tlr3/dsrna complex. journal of the american chemical society, 2011, 133(11): 3764-3767.[2]. blockade of tlr3 protects mice from lethal radiation-induced gastrointestinal syndrome. nature communications, 2014, 5.
