Uses
Anti-ROCK-1 antibody produced in rabbit has been used in western blotting and immunocytochemistry.
Biological Activity
ROCK1 (Rho-kinase) participates in several fundamental cellular functions, like proliferation, differentiation, adhesion, contraction, metabolism and apoptosis. It controls the phosphorylation of myosin light chain and acto-myosin contractility. It serves as a key effector kinase of Rho GTPases, and plays major roles in the modulation of cancer invasion and metastasis.
