Uses

Ethyl 3-(2,2-dichlorovinyl)-2,2-dimethyl-1-cyclopropanecarboxylate is an important intermediate of pyrethroids and can be used to prepare permethrin, cypermethrin, beta-cypermethrin, transfluthrin, cyfluthrin, etc.

Synthesis
