Uses

Dimethylsilylene)bis(2-methyl-4-phenylindenyl)zirconium dichloride can be used as organic synthesis intermediate and pharmaceutical intermediate, mainly used in laboratory research and development process.

Synthesis

To a solution of (2-methyl-4-phenylindenyl) silane ether / hexane = 1/1 (12.4 mmol) in 240 mL of n-butyllithium(2.5 M in hexane) was slowly added dropwise at -78 ° C.
