Uses

Anti-TARDBP antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Biological Activity

TARDBP (TAR DNA binding protein) functions as a transcriptional gene and is involved in various processes such as RNA splicing of the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator gene. It has been reported th at TARDBP may play an important role in neurodegeneration. Abnormal aggregation of TARDBP causes an adult-onset neurological disorder, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), th at leads to the degeneration of motor neurons.
