Chemical Properties

Trimethylantimony is a colorless and transparent liquid, which is a kind of MO source (metal organic metal organic compound). Its chemical properties are relatively active, and it will spontaneously ignite in the air.

Uses

Trimethylantimony is the raw material of MOCVD process and is used as N-type dopant for AsGa, GaP, GaAsP, etc. in the manufacture of light-emitting diodes.

Preparation

First synthesize trimethyl antimony by Grignard reagent method, and then concentrate the crude product of trimethyl antimony to obtain Trimethylantimony.
