(D-Trp8,D-Cys14)-Somatostatin-14 is a Somatostatin synthetic analogue. (D-Trp8,D-Cys14)-Somatostatin-14 can be used for the research of metabolic related diseases[1][2].
in vivo
(D-Trp8,D-Cys14)-Somatostatin-14 (12 μg/100g; i.p.) not modify intestinal absorption in vivo of carbohydrates in hamster intestine, but inhibits brush-border lactase activity in females[2].
