HOMER1 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1000 ~ 2000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1000.

Immunogen

Anti-human HOMER1 mAb is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human HOMER1 amino acids 1-354 purified from E. coli.

Background

HOMER1 takes part in determining the apoptotic susceptibility to TRAIL. HOMER1 is a member of the Homer family of proteins that regulate signal transduction through, and the trafficking of, glutamate receptors, plus maintain and regulate extracellular glutamate levels in corticolimbic brain regions. The HOMER1 is enriched at excitatory synapses and binds group 1 metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs).
