Synthesis

A solution of 4-chloro-3-nitrobenzonitrile and methylamine was mixed and stirred in tetrahydrofuran, then concentrated and suspended in diethyl ether for filtration to obtain the crude product 4-methylamino-3-nitro-benzonitrile.
