Uses

Auxiliary plasticizers or bulk plasticizers for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) have low volatility, low cost, and are non-flammable. They can impart certain weather resistance, physical and mechanical properties, electrical insulation, and flame retardancy to products. They are often used in combination with phthalate primary plasticizers in leather making, films, cable materials, and shoe sole materials to replace part of the primary plasticizer and reduce costs.
