Ganoderma lipsiense is a commonly known mushroom. To study the inhibitoryeffect and mechanism of Ganoderma lipsiense extract (GLE) on the growth ofTNBC cell line MDA-MB-231-HM inoculated in a mouse model. GLE treatmentreduced the average tumour weight about 51.4%. In addition, the GLE treatmentalso reduced the microvessel density and cyclin D1 expression (Qi et al. 2016).They concluded that GLE could inhibit malignant proliferation of tumour cells bysuppressing angiogenesis of blood vessels in tumour tissues and regulating cellcycles, thereby inhibiting TNBC.
