Uses
L-Kynurenine Sulfate is a tryptophan metabolite which is a precursor of kynurenic acid (K660500) and an antagonist of N-methyl-aspartate receptor.
Purification Methods
Crystallise the sulfate from water by addition of EtOH. The (±)-sulfate has m 173o. [Beilstein 14 IV 2562.]
