Uses
α-(E)-Bisabolene?is a sesquiterpenes and is found in the essential oil of Daucus carota (carrot) and leaves of Plinia cerrocampanensis (Myrtaceae). Bisabolene exhibits antioxidant, antibacterial, and anticancer properties. In addition, bisabolene can be used to develop potential biofuels to replace diesel and aviation fuel.
