Application

Neutral gum is a versatile natural adhesive, primarily used for sealing biological sections to effectively prevent fading and mold growth, and suitable for the long-term preservation of various stained sections. It is also used in woodworking, craft bonding, and artifact restoration due to its high bonding strength and adaptability to various materials, meeting the needs of meticulous restoration. Furthermore, neutral gum can be used for bonding optical glass instruments and modifying rubber and plastics, finding wide application in the production of rubber and plastic products.

Chemical Properties

Neutral gum is chemically stable, neutral reaction, not easy to corrode metal or discoloration affect wood, paper and other materials. Its refractive index is similar to glass, about 1.5200-1.5240 (20 ℃ conditions), after drying to form a transparent colorless solid. Neutral gum can be completely dissolved in xylene, residue can be cleaned with turpentine.
